This event was organized by Gyeonggi Province Corporation, the operator entrusted with Baedal Teukgeup in Guri City. During lunchtime, a coffee truck was operated, paper coupons were distributed, and citizen interview videos were filmed, producing a variety of content.

The videos produced will be promoted through the official Baedal Teukgeup YouTube and social media channels in the future. This new promotional approach aims not only to publicize municipal initiatives and attract new users, but also to boost sales for local small businesses.

"Baedal Teukgeup" is a public delivery platform operated by Gyeonggi Province for small business owners in the food service industry. With no advertising fees and a low brokerage commission of 1%, it reduces the burden on franchisees. Consumers benefit from various discount coupons and online payment with local gift certificates, allowing them to receive a constant 10% discount.

Since October 2025, a variety of discount events have been offered, including: a 5,000 won discount coupon for orders over 20,000 won; overlapping delivery fee support (up to 3,000 won); "Baedal Teukgeup Day" (up to 5,000 won discount); and weekend-only coupons (up to 3,000 won).

In addition, Guri City is expanding consumer inflow by conducting offline promotions at major local events such as the Guri Canola Flower Festival and Cosmos Festival, as well as through various methods including linking payments with local gift certificates.

Guri City marked the fifth year since the introduction of Baedal Teukgeup in 2025. As of the first half of 2025, it has achieved 1,288 affiliated stores, a cumulative total of 324,757 orders, and cumulative sales of 8,691,940,000 won. The city continues to provide practical economic support to small business owners struggling with the economic downturn and rising prices, such as subsidizing part of the delivery fee per order.

Baek Kyunghyeon, Mayor of Guri City, said, "I hope Baedal Teukgeup will become a win-win platform that provides real benefits to small business owners and advantages to consumers," adding, "I expect active use by citizens will lead to revitalization of the local economy."
