Chairman Cho is expected to focus on the surge in electricity demand driven by the spread of artificial intelligence, the adoption of electric vehicles, and the increase in data centers at this meeting. He is likely to discuss ways to cooperate on power grids and energy infrastructure among Korea, the United States, and Japan. Hyosung Heavy Industries produces power equipment such as ultra-high voltage transformers, high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems, and gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), maintaining technological competitiveness in the global power transmission infrastructure market.

Chairman Chung is expected to attend the event again this year as a sponsor of Hyundai Motor Group, following his participation last year. At the second Trilateral Economic Dialogue held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Yongsan, Seoul, last year, Chairman Chung discussed various topics with U.S. Republican Senator Bill Hagerty, Democratic Senator Chris Coons, and others.

Chairman Lee, who did not participate in last year's Trilateral Economic Dialogue, is expected to attend this year.

Other attendees include Jeong Inseop, CEO of Hanwha Ocean, and Shin Hakcheol, Vice Chairman of LG Chem. On the Japanese side, major organizations and companies such as Keidanren (Japan Business Federation), SoftBank, Toyota, and Sony will be present. From the United States, attendees will include Senator Hagerty, U.S. Ambassador to Japan George Glass, Allison Hooker, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Political Affairs, as well as representatives from Qualcomm and FedEx.
