Receive 1,000 KRW Cashback Per Transaction for Subscriptions Like YouTube
Additional Refunds for F&B, Transportation, and Daily Necessities
Hana Card announced on May 14 that it will launch the "Hana The Easy" debit card for foreign customers residing in Korea.
When foreign residents in Korea use the card for recurring payments on subscription services they prefer, such as YouTube Premium, Netflix, and Coupang Wow, they will receive a cashback of 1,000 KRW per transaction.
In the F&B sector (coffee, desserts, delivery), transportation (public transportation, intercity and express buses, railways), daily necessities (insurance, supermarkets, Olive Young), and automatic payments (telecommunication bills, gas and electricity bills), customers will receive a refund of 1,000 KRW for each transaction of 10,000 KRW or more.
The cashback service is provided up to a maximum of 4,000 KRW per category, depending on the previous month's spending.
A Hana Card representative stated, "This product was prepared to provide tailored benefits to the increasing number of foreign customers residing in Korea," adding, "We will continue to strive to offer a variety of services for long-term residents in Korea and for their rational consumption activities."
