In Jinhae-gu, in preparation for the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival and the spring outing season, a total of 21 wildfire response equipment, including 5 backpack pumps and 2 fire extinguishers at each location, were placed at multi-use gathering spots such as the Anmin Pass Observatory Rest Area, next to the dust remover at Jangbok Mountain Sculpture Park, and at the entrance and exit of the Ungdong Cherry Blossom Complex. By sharing these locations among relevant agencies, the initial response posture has been strengthened.

This measure is part of an effort to enable anyone?police officers, public officials, hikers, or nearby residents?to respond quickly in the event of an initial fire, as immediate response is crucial to prevent large-scale forest fires. The district plans to expand the placement of firefighting equipment as needed in the future.

District Mayor Jeong Hyunseop stated, "In addition to strengthening wildfire prevention activities, we have deployed wildfire suppression equipment at major hiking trails and tourist attractions so that anyone can take immediate action in the event of a fire. We kindly ask all citizens to strictly refrain from using fire in mountainous areas and to actively cooperate in preventing wildfires."
