The South Jeolla Provincial Council announced on the 30th that it had urgently formed an Accident Response Support Team in relation to the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster.
On this day, members and staff of the South Jeolla Provincial Council visited the joint memorial altar set up at the Meeting Plaza of the South Jeolla Provincial Government to pay tribute to the victims. The Accident Response Support Team, led by Chairman Kim Taegyun, consists of four teams: the Situation Control Team, the Bereaved Family Support Team, the Post-Accident Measures Team, and the Administrative Support Team. These teams will operate until the situation is resolved.

View original imageThe Situation Control Team oversees information management at the accident site, monitors the status of the disaster and the deployment of rescue personnel and equipment, and supports the operation of other working teams. The Bereaved Family Support Team assesses the situation of the bereaved families and provides on-site support, including the distribution of relief supplies.
The Post-Accident Measures Team reviews measures and progress for the livelihood stability of bereaved families, while the Administrative Support Team assists with the provision of necessary supplies and budget for the working teams, as well as promoting their key activities.
An official from the Provincial Council stated, "We will honor the victims who lost their lives in the Muan Airport passenger plane disaster and actively work to support the accident response, bereaved families, and victims through the Accident Response Support Team."
