Uijeongbu City Lights Up the Hopeful 'Christmas Tree' at Uijeongbu Station East Plaza

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) held the 'Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony' hosted by the Uijeongbu Christian Association (President Jo Haeng-rae) on the 13th at the East Square of Uijeongbu Station.

The event was attended by about 200 executives of the Uijeongbu Christian Association and citizens, during which a Christmas worship service and lighting ceremony were conducted.

President Jo Haeng-rae said, "I bless that this Christmas will overflow with true peace in Uijeongbu City through Jesus' forgiveness and love."

Mayor Kim Dong-geun stated, "Just as small lights come together to form a Christmas tree, I hope that love and warm hearts toward each other gather to convey the light of hope."

The Christmas tree, celebrating the birth of baby Jesus who came as the Savior of love and peace and sharing the joy of Christmas, will brightly illuminate the East Square of Uijeongbu Station until January 15 of next year, and is expected to contribute to creating a festive atmosphere for Christmas and the year-end holidays.
