On the 4th, DL Construction declared the focused period for heat-related illness prevention until the end of August during the Safety and Health Inspection Day event, hosted by the Chief Security Officer (CSO). Site managers from over 70 business sites nationwide attended the event.

On this day, DL Construction presented guidelines based on the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s safety management directives for heatwaves and heavy rain. The guidelines included DL Construction’s detailed operational instructions and best practice cases to secure the three basic rules for heatstroke prevention: water, shade, and rest.

In addition, DL Construction will simultaneously carry out △ frequent provision of heatwave information △ guidance on response measures according to heatwave risk levels △ education on types, symptoms, and prevention rules of heat-related illnesses △ special inspections by management △ continuous monitoring of the implementation status of the heat-related illness prevention system △ campaigns related to heat-related illness prevention.

A DL Construction official stated, "We set the focused period to proactively respond to the early arrival of the severe heatwave compared to previous years," adding, "We will do our best to create a safe working environment by concentrating the company-wide capabilities for the prevention and management of heat-related illnesses at construction sites."
