Daejeon City to Hold Flower Festival at Hanbat Arboretum Starting the 10th

Attractions Including Jangmi Tunnel and Herb Garden Until the 27th

Daejeon City announced that from the 10th to the 26th, a flower festival will be held at Hanbat Arboretum under the theme "Arboretum in the City, Between Spring and Summer."

Visitors can get off at the outdoor parking lot of Daejeon Museum of Art and Yeonjeong Gugak Center, then enter the Rose Festival venue at Dongwon by following the vine-covered rose path along both sides of the movable Sky Road in Expo Citizen Square.

In front of the entrance's rose flower tower, there is a photo zone at the golden carriage, and after passing through the rose tunnel, visitors can enjoy exotic tropical flower beds such as palm trees and herb gardens.

Additionally, visitors can explore the peony garden, wildflowers bonsai, vegetable garden, private garden, and flower wall garden, which are set up inside a Mongol ger (traditional home) themed around wild and domestic plants.

Park Dohyun, Director of the Environmental Greenery Bureau of Daejeon City, said, "In May at Hanbat Arboretum, where spring and summer meet and flowers begin to bloom in earnest, we hope families, couples, and friends will have a happy time enjoying the flowers together."
