Ulsan Student Education and Culture Center (Director Kim Hyun-mi) will operate a media experience exhibition on the 1st floor Uiro Hall from April 26 to May 18.
"The Master's Palette, Meeting Light" is an immersive media art exhibition that digitally converts masterpieces painted on the flat surface of a canvas and projects them onto the wall using a high-definition projector.
In this exhibition, visitors can encounter works that reflect the lives of masters such as "Vincent van Gogh," who sublimated his painful life into art with intense colors and unique brushwork; "Claude Monet," the founder of Impressionist art and the painter of light; and "Henri Matisse," who founded Fauvism with vivid primary colors and lines.
The exhibition consists of a "Media Space," where visitors can see three-dimensional portraits of van Gogh, Monet, and Henri Matisse created close to the actual figures; a "Masterpiece Space," where imitative works of the three painters can be viewed in chronological order; and an "Experience Space," where visitors can color van Gogh's works or stamp and color Matisse's works.
Admission is free for everyone from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, excluding public holidays and Mondays when the center is closed. For more details, please contact the Student Education and Culture Center.
