Pyeongtaek Port Authority, Joint Anti-Corruption Training with Related Organizations at Pyeongtaek Port on the 29th

Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority conducted joint anti-corruption training with related organizations.

On the 29th, Pyeongtaek Port Authority announced that it held anti-corruption training for about 70 public officials from related organizations at Pyeongtaek Port, including the Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone Authority, Pyeongtaek Coast Guard, and Pyeongtaek Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, by inviting a professional integrity education instructor at the Pyeongtaek Port Marine Center.

The training was conducted for two hours by inviting a professional instructor from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission's Integrity Training Institute, focusing on key contents and real cases related to the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act and the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act.

Kim Seok-gu, President of Pyeongtaek Port Authority, said, "As public officials, we prepared this training to enhance the trust of Pyeongtaek Port users through fair work performance and to foster a clean public service culture," adding, "The authority will take the lead in creating a transparent Pyeongtaek Port through transparent work processing and proactive administration."

Meanwhile, Pyeongtaek Port Authority plans to implement various integrity policies, including organizational restructuring, regular anti-corruption training, and strengthening internal control functions, to establish a clean organizational culture and public service discipline.
