Professor Seo Hee of Jeonbuk National University Awarded the 'Korean Radiation Protection Society Technology Award'

Research Achievements Including Numerous Published Papers and Patent Registrations Over 10 Years

Professor Seo Hee of the Department of Quantum Systems Engineering at Jeonbuk National University (President Yang Obong) recently received the honor of being awarded the "1st iTRS Radiation Protection Technology Award" at the "2023 Korean Association for Radiation Protection Autumn Conference and General Meeting" held in Jeju Island.

This award was jointly established by the Korean Association for Radiation Protection and Hanyang University’s Institute of Radiation Safety and New Technology (iTRS) to encourage the research motivation of researchers in the field of radiation protection and to promote the development of related industries.

Professor Seo was selected as the recipient in recognition of her outstanding research achievements, including publishing numerous papers and registering domestic and international patents in the field of radiation protection over the past 10 years.

She was also recognized for her contributions to the development of the Korean Association for Radiation Protection through many years of activities on the board of directors, presenting papers at the association’s conferences, and participating in workshops.

Professor Seo stated, "I will continue to make greater efforts toward the advancement of radiation protection technology in Korea and the cultivation of talented individuals."
