On the 26th, Paradise expressed serious concern over the spread of false information claiming that Jeon Cheong-jo is an illegitimate child of Paradise in relation to Jeon's fraud allegations, stating, "This is completely untrue."

They added, "Recently, baseless content about our company has been indiscriminately spread and posted online through articles related to Jeon Cheong-jo, severely damaging our company's honor and greatly harming our corporate image," emphasizing, "We plan to respond strictly and legally to posts involving the spread of false information, defamation, malicious slander, and personal attacks."

Earlier, on the 23rd, Nam announced her remarriage to Jeon, a businessman 15 years her junior, in an interview with Women Chosun. Afterwards, suspicions arose that Jeon was a woman, not a man, and that Jeon had a past record of fraud.

On the 25th, after persuasion from family and acquaintances, Nam left the house where she was living with Jeon and moved into her mother's home.

In the early hours of the 26th, Jeon was arrested on the spot for repeatedly knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell at Nam's mother's house, charges related to violation of the Stalking Punishment Act. During the police investigation, it was revealed that Jeon is registered as a "female" with a resident registration number starting with '2'.

In an interview that day, Nam claimed, "I was completely deceived by Jeon Cheong-jo," stating that she first learned that Jeon had embezzled investment funds using her name.

Nam said she knew that Jeon had undergone gender reassignment surgery and that Jeon possessed two resident registration cards, one starting with '1' and another starting with '2'.

She also claimed that after checking about ten pregnancy tests given by Jeon, which always showed two lines indicating pregnancy, she later found out that this was not true.

Nam said, "Jeon Cheong-jo always gave me pregnancy tests with the packaging already removed," adding, "I realized too late that all the pregnancy tests Jeon gave me were fake." She further added, "I tried to go to the obstetrics and gynecology clinic for a diagnosis, but Jeon kept blocking me, so I couldn't go."

Jeon is not the first person to use the Paradise Group's name. In 2003, actor Kim Sang-joong's fianc?e was revealed to have impersonated a second-generation chaebol of Paradise Group, leading to a broken engagement. In 2018, Wang Jin-jin (real name Jeon Jun-ju), the ex-husband of broadcaster Nancy Lang, carried out a fraud claiming to be the illegitimate son of the founder of Paradise Group.
