Kim Hansol Wins Gold in Men's Gymnastics Floor Exercise... Achieves 2 Consecutive Titles [Asian Games]

Kim Han-sol (27, Seoul Metropolitan Government), the leading star of South Korean men's gymnastics, won the gold medal in the men's floor exercise at the Hangzhou Asian Games.

On the 28th, Kim Han-sol received the highest score of 14.900 among 8 competitors in the floor exercise final held at the Huanglong Sports Center Gymnasium in Hangzhou, China.

With this, Kim Han-sol has won this event for the second consecutive time at the Asian Games, following the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Games.

Kim Han-sol's consecutive two-time victory is the third for a South Korean gymnast. Yeo Hong-chul, the current Executive Director of the Korea Gymnastics Association (professor at Kyung Hee University), dominated the vault event at the 1994 Hiroshima and 1998 Bangkok Games, and Kim Soo-myeon won gold in different events at the 2006 Doha (pommel horse) and 2010 Guangzhou (floor exercise) Games.
