Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced on the 26th that it won the top award in the landscape photography category, the ‘Studio Winner,’ at the ‘2023 Architizer A+ Vision Awards’ hosted by Architizer, the world's largest architecture-focused web magazine.

The Vision Awards is a photo and video contest where architectural photographers from over 50 countries worldwide compete. It recognizes works that express the most impressive architecture and landscape scenes globally.
Hyundai Engineering & Construction submitted ‘Sky Garden with Mirror Pond & Media Art,’ capturing the rooftop landscape of Amorepacific’s new headquarters located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and was honored as the only domestic construction company to receive the Studio Winner award.
The photo features an impressive scene with the silhouette of Cheongdanpung (Korean maple) reflected in the mirror pond against the backdrop of the sunset, combined with media art installed on the ceiling. It was praised for distinctively capturing the fleeting moment of communication between the interior and exterior spaces of the building within a symmetrically framed landscape.
Over the past three years, Hyundai Engineering & Construction has proven its design competitiveness in the landscape field by sweeping various domestic and international design awards, including winning the grand slam of the world’s top three design awards?‘IDEA,’ ‘iF,’ and ‘reddot’?five times, and becoming the first domestic construction company to be selected for the U.S. Good Design Award.
