On the 6th, Seoul held the 13th Urban Planning Committee meeting and announced on the 7th that it had approved the amendment to the maintenance plan for the ‘Sinbanpo 4 District Housing Reconstruction Maintenance Project’ in Jamwon-dong 60-3 area, Seocho-gu.

The main change is to convert part of the donation facilities (cultural facilities) added in the 2017 maintenance plan decision into school facilities. In November last year, a land exchange agreement was signed between the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, resulting in Cheongdam High School, located in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, relocating to the current Jamwon Sports Park site in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu. Accordingly, part of the existing cultural facilities among the donation facilities will be replaced and converted into school facilities. There will be no changes to the previously decided floor area ratio or the union members’ contribution fees.

The reconstruction maintenance project began construction in November 2021 and is currently undergoing structural work, with completion scheduled for April 2025. The housing supply is expected to increase from the existing 2,898 apartment units to 3,307 units.
