GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 2nd that it has launched the second version of the popular Hyejaroun) Mammoth Bread (Black Sesame), introducing Injeolmi Bread.
The previously released Hyejaroun) Mammoth Bread actively reflected the trend of customers who are enthusiastic about generous products and the "Halmaennial" trend (a combination of Halmeoni, meaning grandmother in dialect, and millennial) among young customers. Despite its high price of 4,900 won, since its launch in June, it has ranked first in bakery sales and increased the average purchase price per person in the general bread category by 22%.
The Hyejaroun) Mammoth Bread (Injeolmi) is the same big size (420g) as the original product. The bread is topped with soboro mixed with soybean powder, and filled with savory Injeolmi cream and chewy rice cake, adding texture and eating enjoyment. It is a product that expresses the taste of the original Mammoth Bread by spreading a thin layer of strawberry jam, highlighting its unique richness. The price is 4,900 won.
GS25 expects that the Hyejaroun) Mammoth Bread (Injeolmi), which incorporates the Injeolmi style, will be greatly loved as the Halmaennial consumption trend gains popularity and interest grows in products like yakgwa, which elderly people tend to enjoy.
To celebrate the launch of the new product, GS25 will offer a 50% payback when purchasing the two types of Hyejaroun) Mammoth Bread with KakaoPay (Money/Card) throughout August. The maximum payback limit per person is 5,000 points.
