The Yeosu 365 Island Youth Tour Group in Jeollanam-do toured Geumo Island and Ando Island on a 1-night, 2-day trip on the 21st.
The Yeosu 365 Island Youth Tour Group consists of young people who want to travel to the islands of Yeosu. It is a Yeosu island travel program that develops themed island content through a 1-night, 2-day island experience.
In the first program introduced this year, the youth walked along Course 5 of the Geumo Island Bireong-gil Trail, exploring every corner of the island, and held an island experience video production and island concert at the Ando Goose Camping Site. In particular, they had a unique experience by delivering food via drone for dinner.
Kim (22, female), who participated in the program, said, “These days, when I have many concerns about my career path, walking the trail gave me time to reorganize myself. Having Tomahawk steak delivered by drone and grilled over charcoal was so delicious that it seemed to relieve my stress.”
A city official said, “We hope this was a memorable time for young people tired of daily life, and we encourage them to fully enjoy the taste and charm of Seomseom Yeosu.”
Meanwhile, the Geumo Island Bireong-gil Trail, popular for its pristine scenery, is a trekking course along coastal cliffs visited by more than 400,000 people annually. It consists of five courses totaling 18.5 km, with Course 1 from Hamgumi to Dupo and Course 2 from Dupo to Jikpo being the most representative.
