On a recent online community, a post threatening to kill women near Sillim Station in Seoul, where a stabbing incident recently occurred, was uploaded, prompting the police to launch a manhunt.
On the afternoon of the 21st, a police line was set up near Exit 4 of Sillim Station in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, where a stabbing incident occurred. On that day, a suspect wielded a weapon at this location, resulting in one death and three injuries, who were transported to the hospital.

On the 25th, the Cyber Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that they are tracking the author of a post that was reported the previous day at around 2:40 p.m., which stated, "I will kill 20 Korean women at Sillim Station."
The author posted a message saying they would commit murder at Sillim Station on the 26th, along with a screenshot showing the purchase of a weapon online. The post has since been deleted.
The police are identifying the author through Internet Protocol (IP) tracking and other methods.
