According to local Japanese media such as Nikkan Sports on the 24th, Fujisawa participated in the fitness competition called the Body Makeup Competition MOLA CUP held on the 22nd in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture.

In an interview after the competition, Fujisawa said, "I enjoyed watching bodybuilding videos on YouTube and always wanted to participate in a competition someday," adding, "I've liked professional training for a long time." She also mentioned that in the curling world, she feels like a pioneer as this was her first competition.
