Gangseo-gu Community Choir Wins 'Silver Award' at Gangneung World Choir Competition

Great Achievement in the Women's Chamber Choir Open Competition Category

The Gangseo-gu Choir of Gangseo-gu, Seoul recently won the silver prize at the "12th 2023 Gangneung World Choir Competition."

The World Choir Competition is a choral contest held every two years since 2000. This year, it was held in Gangneung, with 324 teams from 46 countries participating across 29 categories. In the "Category 9 Women's Chamber Choir" division, where the Gangseo-gu Choir won an award, a total of 9 teams showcased their well-honed skills.

The Gangseo-gu Choir was founded in October 2000 and consists of 25 members. They actively participate in various competitions and events, and have won grand prizes in nationwide competitions, continuing their vibrant activities.
