The subway 10,000-step course introduced this time is Songpa Station on Line 8, where you can walk across Tancheon Bridge. The name 'Songpa-gu,' from which Songpa Station takes its name, originally means 'hill with green pine trees.' The area around Tancheon starting from Songpa Station is densely covered with green pine trees. In spring, cherry blossoms also bloom in full. The Songpa Station course is perfect as a 10,000-step course because you can enjoy the urban landscape and lush trees in the area.

First, if you exit from Exit 3 of Songpa Station on Line 8 and walk straight, you will reach Tancheon Bridge. Tancheon is a tributary of the Han River, flowing from Yongin in Gyeonggi Province through Seongnam to Songpa and Gangnam in Seoul. In the past, Tancheon was polluted due to industrial and domestic sewage, but it is now considered much improved thanks to local government ecological projects. Tancheon Bridge is also a bridge connecting Suseo-dong in Gangnam-gu and Garak-dong in Songpa-gu. Passing the second connecting walkway of the Tancheon Bridge promenade, you reach the Tancheon embankment path, a representative spot where cherry blossoms bloom in full in spring, attracting many visitors.

Walking about 1 km along the Tancheon embankment path, if you cross the pedestrian overpass in front of the Tancheon Water Reclamation Center and proceed about 600 meters along Gaepo-ro, you will see Maru Park. It has facilities such as a lawn plaza and a futsal field. Maru Park, established in 2010, was originally the site of the Tancheon sewage treatment plant. It transformed a so-called 'NIMBY (Not In My Backyard)' facility into a resident-friendly space. Maru Park is especially good to visit on Fridays because concerts are held then, allowing you to enjoy cultural experiences while walking.

Exiting Maru Park, you will find another park, Daechung Park. Daechung Park, completed in 1985, was aging and was reborn in 2007. It has various rest facilities such as senior centers, playgrounds, and badminton courts. Every year, the 'Daechunggol Festival,' which fosters harmony among residents, is held here. The final course is the Daechung Station food alley. There are various types of food including Korean, Japanese, and Western cuisine, making it a good place to have a meal after walking 10,000 steps. Nearby is Daechung Station on Line 3.
