This fruit has watermelon and melon attached like a snowman, each maintaining its own shape. The size is small enough to fit entirely in one adult male hand. With its small size, it allows people to enjoy the flavors of both watermelon and melon at once without any burden.

Introducing himself under the pen name 'Ddaggeo (Hyungnim),' the man posted on Chinese SNS Weibo on the 12th, "I have tried several times to graft melon seeds onto watermelon seeds, and this time I finally succeeded," adding, "With this new variety, anyone can buy melon and watermelon at once."

He further explained, "This variety is based on watermelon with melon grafted onto it," and said, "Among the modified varieties planted in the field, some grew exactly half watermelon and half melon as expected. However, others grew with 10% watermelon and 90% melon, which was below expectations."

Netizens who watched the video responded positively, saying, "It's great to be able to eat watermelon and melon at the same time," and "It's fascinating; I want to try buying it at least once." However, some expressed skepticism about the emergence of the 'half watermelon, half melon' new variety, suggesting that "there might be a possibility of manipulation."
