The three major indices of the U.S. New York Stock Exchange closed slightly higher on the 15th (local time) as they monitored the ongoing discussions surrounding the debt ceiling increase.
On that day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.15% compared to the previous session. The large-cap-focused S&P 500 index increased by 0.3%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq index closed up 0.66%.
