An evacuation commotion occurred at a high school in the United States due to a 'fart spray,' leading to a temporary school closure.
According to the New York Post on the 9th (local time), on the 5th, a strong foul odor was detected inside the building of Caney Creek High School located in Texas, causing all staff and students to evacuate the building.
Fire authorities stated that emergency responders inspected the building with gas detection equipment but found no signs of gas leakage and reported no issues with air quality.
Following this, the school resumed classes, but due to the lingering odor inside the building, six students complained of headaches and were transported to the hospital. Additionally, more than eight other students reportedly experienced symptoms such as nausea.
The school decided to cancel all remaining classes for the day and temporarily closed for several days.
Later, during an investigation by fire authorities to identify the source of the odor, a student confessed to using 'fart spray.'
The spray used by the student is known to be a toy advertised to emit the smell of actual feces and vomit.
School officials believe there may be more students involved in the odor incident and are conducting further investigations.
Meanwhile, the students who were transported to the hospital have received treatment, are resting, and have been confirmed to have no serious health issues.
