Electric Heating Pad Sales Increase by 51%

According to Electronic Land on the 22nd, sales of electric mats, electric heaters, warm air fans, and electric heaters from the 1st to the 21st of this month increased by 51%, 30%, 29%, and 12% respectively compared to the same period last year.

Electronic Land analyzes that consumers purchased many heating appliances to prepare for the rapidly changing weather. Additionally, the rise in city gas and district heating costs seems to have had an impact.

An Electronic Land official said, “As the cold wave is expected to continue until the end of the year, the demand for heating appliances is also expected to persist throughout December,” adding, “Since heating appliances such as electric mats and warm air fans vary in usage situations and locations depending on the type, ‘Bangbangnanbang’ has become a trend.”
