Puradak Chicken's Black Aglio and Gochu Mayo Surpass 30 Million Units Sold

Idus Korea Co., Ltd. announced that two of Puradak Chicken's signature menu items, ‘Black Alio’ and ‘Gochu Mayo’ chicken, have surpassed a cumulative sales volume of 30 million units.


Since their launch in July 2015, the cumulative sales of ‘Black Alio’ have exceeded 19 million units, and the cumulative sales of ‘Gochu Mayo’ chicken have surpassed 11 million units, bringing the total cumulative sales of the two signature menu items to over 30 million units.


‘Black Alio’ is a menu item that harmonizes a special soy sauce and crispy garlic chip toppings. In particular, the chicken’s ‘black’ color is characterized by a sweet yet savory flavor. It is also the menu that best matches Puradak Chicken’s brand image, which adopts ‘black’ and ‘gold’ colors as its brand identity.


‘Gochu Mayo’ chicken features a unique combination of a sauce that blends the spiciness of green chili peppers with the creaminess of mayonnaise and spicy jalape?o toppings. It offers a simultaneous taste of nuttiness, spiciness, creaminess, sweetness, and tanginess.


Both menu items have established themselves as representative dishes by showcasing the taste and visual appeal of Puradak Chicken’s unique ‘oven-fried’ cooking method, which involves baking and frying, along with special sauces and toppings. Additionally, in June 2020, responding to customers’ consistent requests to enjoy both flavors at once, Puradak Chicken launched ‘Black Mayo,’ a half-and-half combination of the two menu items.
