At 1:36 PM on the 1st, a KT-1 Air Force training fighter jet crashed in Goeup-ri, Jeongdong-myeon, Sacheon-si, Gyeongnam, resulting in the deaths of three occupants, with one person still being searched for.

The dispatched 119 fire brigade deployed two fire helicopters, 14 fire trucks, and 25 personnel to begin rescue operations.

The Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters reported that three of the four occupants died, and one is still being searched for.

The military and fire authorities believe that two training fighter jets collided and are investigating the exact cause of the crash.
