[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Hanwha Total announced on the 1st that it will change its company name to ‘Hanwha TotalEnergies’.

The name change was made as part of the policy by its shareholder, the French chemical energy company TotalEnergies, to apply its new corporate name to its affiliates.

Earlier, in May last year, TotalEnergies changed its name to reflect its commitment to transforming into a comprehensive energy company contributing to the sustainable development of the Earth facing climate change.

Hanwha TotalEnergies is a joint venture equally owned by Hanwha and TotalEnergies. The new name of Hanwha TotalEnergies will be applied from today, and the website address will also be changed.
