[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] SPC's Baskin-Robbins announced on the 1st that it will launch the April flavor of the month, ‘Sarang-e Bbaljin Oegyein’ (Alien in Love).


The new product was created by combining ‘Sarang-e Bbaljin Ddalgi’ (Strawberry in Love), which maximizes the rich flavor of cheese and the refreshing taste of strawberries, with the popular ice cream ‘Eomma-neun Oegyein’ (Mom is an Alien) that contains chocolate. Sarang-e Bbaljin Oegyein features cheese ice cream with strawberry pieces, cheesecake cubes, and chocolate ribbons that create a sweet and tangy harmony, along with the crispy texture of the chocolate pretzel balls, a key point of Eomma-neun Oegyein. It is characterized by a diverse blend of cheese, strawberry, and chocolate flavors in every bite.


Baskin-Robbins unveiled the ‘Sarang-e Bbaljin Oegyein Cake’ as the cake of the month. The cake is designed in the shape of a ‘Ddalgi Byeol Haengseong’ (Strawberry Star Planet), and when you tap the dome-shaped strawberry chocolate topping on top, pretzel balls spill out, adding fun to both eating and viewing. Additionally, alien characters ‘Choco’ and ‘Ddalgi,’ born alongside the April flavor of the month, are realized as clay toys placed next to the strawberry chocolate. After enjoying the cake, customers can enjoy Baskin-Robbins once again through the toys, offering double the happiness.



Also available throughout April are the ‘Sarang-e Bbaljin Oegyein Blast,’ which combines Sarang-e Bbaljin Ddalgi with the caramel pretzel balls from Eomma-neun Oegyein; the lovely heart-shaped macaron filled with cheese and strawberry ice cream called ‘Sarang-e Bbaljin Heart Macaron’; and the ‘Ice Mochi Sarang-e Bbaljin Oegyein,’ which features an attractive harmony of cheese ice cream, strawberry ribbons, and chocolate crunch balls.
