[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] GS Shop, operated by GS Retail, announced on the 1st that it will officially launch the 'Delivery Date Selection' service, allowing customers to conveniently receive products on their desired date.


GS Shop's 'Delivery Date Selection' is a service where customers can specify their preferred delivery date and receive purchased products accordingly. Customers can choose a delivery date within up to 7 days, excluding holidays. This service applies to approximately 2,200 products, including GS Shop TV home shopping and mobile 'GS Choice' items, and the range of applicable products will be expanded in the future. Customers can check the 'Delivery Date Selection Available' mark on the product's main page before purchasing.


GS Shop introduced this service so that customers can receive items on days they are home or send gifts timed for birthdays, anniversaries, and other occasions. If no delivery date is selected, the product will be delivered on the earliest possible date.


An event commemorating the official launch of the 'Delivery Date Selection' service has also been prepared. Among customers who use the service and write usage 'tips' on the mobile event page, 100 best tip writers will receive a 10,000 KRW credit. Until the 14th, 500 customers will be selected daily by lottery to receive a 2,000 KRW credit when using the 'Delivery Date Selection' service. After completing payment, customers can click the 'Apply for Credit' button on the event page.


Meanwhile, GS Shop operates a system where a single delivery person is responsible for a specific area to ensure stable delivery. Through the 'Live Delivery Service,' real-time information such as the courier's current location and estimated arrival time is provided. In cooperation with 16 local governments nationwide, customers can receive products through unmanned parcel lockers installed at 277 locations across the country via the 'Safe Parcel Service.' The 'Convenience Store Pickup Service' and 'Convenience Store Return Service' allow customers to pick up and return products 24 hours a day at nearby GS25 convenience stores.
