[Asia Economy Reporter Joselgina] Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida stated on the 5th that he is "very regretful" about North Korea's continuous missile launches since last year, in relation to the ballistic missile suspected projectile launched into the East Sea by North Korea.
According to NHK, Prime Minister Kishida arrived at the Prime Minister's Official Residence around 9 a.m., about 30 minutes earlier than usual, and made these remarks while meeting with reporters.
He said, "We want to strengthen vigilance and surveillance more than ever before," and added, "We are conducting detailed and prompt analysis regarding the information on North Korea's projectile." He also explained, "I have instructed to devote all efforts to information gathering and analysis to provide the public with swift and accurate information, to thoroughly ensure the safety of aircraft and ships, and to take full measures to prepare for unforeseen situations."
