Jeonju-si Creates Murals on Old Walls Along Gaksa-gil

Improvement of Aging Walls in Jeonju Gaksa 1-gil Area... Promoted as a Resident Participation Project

[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hanho] On the 16th, Jeonju City announced that it will carry out a resident participation project to beautifully improve the aging fences in the Jeonju Gaksa 1-gil area together with residents and volunteer organizations.

Four organizations, including Jeonju City Happy House Center, Jungang-dong Resident Center, Jungang-dong Volunteers, and Jeonbuk National University Art Group, are participating in this project prepared to improve the village environment, carrying out painting and mural work on the aging fences and creating flower beds.

Jeonju City supported the cost of materials needed for mural work and flower bed creation to help improve the urban landscape.

Earlier this year, Jeonju City promoted projects such as △ creating flower roads along Geumbam 2-dong Geobukbau-ro △ creating flower street in Seobu Market, Hyoja 1-dong △ creating Gwanseon Ssamtji Garden in Cheonsa Village, Nosong-dong △ creating flower beds at the entrance of Nogeun Village, Hoseong-dong △ mural painting project in Songcheon 2-dong.
