According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 19th, as of midnight, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the Gyeongbuk area increased by 4 from the previous day to 3,390 (including 78 imported cases). The new confirmed cases by region are 3 in Gyeongsan City and 1 in Pohang City.
Among the 3 new confirmed cases in Gyeongsan City, 2 are Gyeongsan residents who had contact with previously confirmed cases in Daegu. The other 1 is a symptomatic individual who visited a screening clinic with an unknown infection route.
In the Pohang area, 1 citizen with an unidentified infection route tested positive.
In Gyeongbuk Province, 39 people (excluding imported cases) have been confirmed positive across various regions over the past week, resulting in a weekly daily average of 5.6 confirmed cases.
Since the number of daily confirmed cases in Gyeongbuk increased to 14 on the 12th due to a confirmed case among foreign workers in Uiseong-gun, the daily cases have remained in single digits for six consecutive days starting from the 13th. Currently, the number of people under self-quarantine in the Gyeongbuk area is 1,647.
