Galleria Department Store Hosts Exhibition and Sale of Emerging Artists' Artworks

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Galleria Department Store announced on the 9th that it will exhibit and sell artworks by emerging artists on the Glass Wall on the 3rd floor of the Luxury Hall East until the 2nd of next month.

This exhibition is a project titled "NEW ARTIST, NEW SPACE," conducted by Galleria, involving collaboration between emerging artists and galleries. Galleria provides the exhibition space and design, while the galleries select and exhibit works by emerging artists.

As the first project, Galleria is collaborating with the curating studio "This Weekend Room," which presents contemporary art, to showcase six works by artist Kim Hansem. Kim Hansem is known for expressing elements and creative methods commonly used in popular culture such as comics and games through painting. Visitors can see the artist's representative works including ▲Ancient Sacred Magic "Lightning" ▲Karthus's Avatar ▲Falling Floating City.

A Galleria representative said, "We will continuously introduce trendy artworks that can interact with customers, providing artistic inspiration and visual enjoyment even while shopping."
