View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Ki-dong] Mokpo City announced on the 11th that Mokpo Hyosung Nursing Hospital (CEO Kim Beon-ung) donated 50 bags of 10kg rice and 20 boxes of ramen (40 packs each) to Sangdong Administrative Welfare Center on the 8th to provide a small help to neighbors in need during the year-end season.
The donated items were delivered by visit to 70 low-income households, including elderly living alone with mobility difficulties and welfare blind spot recipients in the district, and their well-being was checked.
Kim Beon-ung, director of Hyosung Nursing Hospital, said, “Although everyone is struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, I hope this support has been a small help,” and added, “We will continue to contribute to spreading the culture of sharing.”
Choi Seong-cheol, head of Sangdong, said, “We thank Hyosung Nursing Hospital for practicing love sharing without forgetting neighbors in need during these difficult times of COVID-19,” and added, “Based on such donations, we will strive to ensure that no welfare blind spots arise.”
