[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] At around 5:56 PM on the 10th, a vehicle fire occurred near the NC Department Store Gwangju Station branch in Sinan-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.

The flames were extinguished by the dispatched fire authorities within about 10 minutes. There were no reported casualties.

The fire authorities estimate that the fire started in the vehicle's engine room and are investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
