Gyeongnam Office of Education Hosts 'Mock Interview Camp' for Local High School Seniors

Providing Opportunities for Early Admission Preparation and More to 700 Students Across 4 Regions

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] The Gyeongnam Office of Education announced on the 14th that it will conduct a 'Visiting Regional Mock Interview Camp' for high school seniors in the province who applied for university early admissions.

The mock interview camp will be held for 700 students from the 17th of this month to the 7th of next month, divided into regions: Jinyang High School in the western region, Gimhae Sammun High School in the eastern region, Dongwon High School in the southern region, and Changwon Yongho High School in the central region.

The interviews are categorized into university-specific tests such as passage-based interviews and in-depth confirmation interviews. Through the mock interview camp, it is expected to provide examinees with various information about interviews, allowing them to prepare efficiently with teachers, thereby relieving tension and boosting confidence.

The interview panel consists of university admission experts and counselors from the Gyeongnam University Admission Information Center, who have extensive experience in university admissions and interview education.

Hong Jeong-hee, Director of the Curriculum Division, said, "We organized the mock interview camp to provide practical help to high school seniors preparing for interviews, which are part of the university-specific tests in early admissions," adding, "We hope that students who applied for early admissions will use the mock interview camp as a stepping stone to enter their desired universities and departments."
