[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] On the 5th, actor Lee Jung-ok revealed his connection with film director Lee Chang-dong on KBS2's 'Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend.'
On this day, 'Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend' featured a stage performance by Choi Jin-hyuk, Park Ju-hyun, Lee Jung-ok, Ha Do-kwon, Tae Hang-ho, Ahn Se-ha, and Lim Se-ju, who all appeared in the upcoming new drama 'Zombie Detective,' scheduled to air on the 14th.
Lee Jung-ok said, "Director Lee Chang-dong is my uncle," adding, "I didn't want to say it because I was worried people would misunderstand me as a silver spoon." The confession surprised the 'Zombie Detective' cast members, especially when one said, "I am also auditioning for a Lee Chang-dong director's work," drawing attention.
That day, Lee Jung-ok took the stage fourth and passionately sang No Brain's 'You Fell for Me.' After delivering an explosive shouting vocal style that turned the stage upside down, Lee Jung-ok shared, "This is the first time I've sung this sober. I was very stressed for a month, but I feel relieved."
KBS2's music variety program 'Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend' airs every Saturday at 6:05 PM.
