[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] It has been confirmed through a detailed epidemiological investigation that quarantine rules were not properly followed at the door-to-door sales meeting, which was the link to the cluster outbreak of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the Gwangju area.
The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters (CDSCH) disclosed the status of the cluster outbreak related to the Gwangju door-to-door sales meeting on the 15th.
As quarantine rules were not properly observed, the cluster infection at the Gwangju door-to-door sales meeting continued in a chain reaction up to the 6th transmission, resulting in a total of 141 confirmed cases.
