On the 8th, Taemin's agency SM Entertainment stated, "Taemin recently fell during dance practice and sustained a fracture near his right wrist," adding, "Taemin is currently receiving outpatient treatment at a hospital, and the comeback schedule will be readjusted and announced depending on his recovery progress."
It was previously reported that Taemin was preparing a new album initially aimed for release in July.
At that time, SM Entertainment said, "Taemin is preparing for a July comeback. Starting with the release of a new song in July, he plans various solo activities, so please look forward to it."
Meanwhile, Taemin debuted in 2008 as a member of SHINee. He began his solo activities in 2014 with his first solo mini-album 'ACE.'
Taemin has been actively continuing his entertainment career, releasing the second mini-album 'WANT' in February last year, followed by the Japanese mini-album 'FAMOUS' in August.
