[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Moon Seok-jin, Mayor of Seodaemun District, participated in the 'Flower Bucket Challenge' on the 18th in his office to help flower farmers struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

This campaign is conducted in a relay style where the purchased flowers are given as a gift to the next participant nominated by the current participant.

Mayor Moon said, "With large and small events being canceled due to COVID-19, flower consumption has significantly decreased," and added, "I hope this challenge, which delivers a small hope to struggling flower farmers, continues."

Having been nominated by Lee Dong-jin, Mayor of Dobong District, Mayor Moon participated in the campaign and nominated Yoo Dong-gyun, Mayor of Mapo District, as the next participant.
