Pohang City Grade 6 Public Official Found Dead on Hillside in Gyeongju Bomun Complex

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Around 10 a.m. on the 29th, a hiker discovered the body of Mr. A (58), a Grade 6 public official affiliated with Nam-gu Office in Pohang-si, Gyeongbuk, in a mountain near Bomun Tourist Complex in Gyeongju, and reported it to the police.
According to Gyeongju Police Station, Mr. A sent a text message to his wife expressing despair about his condition after going to work the previous morning. His wife, suspicious of this, requested location tracking of her husband's phone, and he was reported missing.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of his apparent suicide by questioning those around him.
