[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] Actress Byeon Su-mi, who was reported to the prosecution by BJ Han Mi-mo on charges including mediation of prostitution, has stated, "The allegations are completely unfounded."
On the 29th, Byeon Su-mi said in an interview with 'Sports Chosun,' "The mediation of prostitution is not true at all; it is like a fictional story."
She also added that she has already hired a lawyer and plans to take legal action for false accusation and defamation.
Earlier, on the 28th, Han Mi-mo filed a complaint with the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office against Byeon Su-mi for violating the Act on the Punishment of Acts of Arranging Sexual Traffic and habitual gambling, among other charges.
Han Mi-mo claimed that Byeon Su-mi introduced her to Entertainment CEO Mr. A and mediated prostitution, and that during Byeon Su-mi's habitual gambling, she was forced to assist by taking her to gambling venues.
Meanwhile, Byeon Su-mi debuted in 2012 through the film 'Sumokjang.' She married former national badminton player Lee Yong-dae in 2017 but divorced in 2018.
Han Mi-mo debuted as a racing model in 2017, gained public recognition, and later transitioned to an internet broadcaster, continuing her activities.
