[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Service announced on the 29th that it signed an agreement with the Life Forest National Movement Association to mutually cooperate on "Forest Restoration and Ecosystem Conservation in the DMZ Area." According to the agreement, the Korea Forest Service will collaborate on field surveys, forest restoration and recovery projects, and technical support in the DMZ area, while the Life Forest Association will promote private-sector forest restoration projects and conduct citizen participation monitoring activities.
