[Breaking] Soldier Returning from Leave in Cheorwon Tests Positive... "Family of Incheon Confirmed Case"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] On the 29th, a soldier belonging to an army unit in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province, tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

According to Gangwon Province health authorities, soldier A (21) from the Cheorwon military unit underwent a health screening within the unit at around 5:10 PM on the 27th upon returning from leave, and tested positive at 11:30 PM on the 28th.

It is known that A is a family member of a confirmed case in Incheon. This is the first time a soldier has tested positive while returning from leave within the province.
