Railroad Corporation and Danyang-gun, Mutual Cooperation in Railroad Asset Development 업무

View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Korea Rail Network Authority announced on the 20th that it signed a business agreement with Danyang-gun to mutually cooperate in "enhancing the utilization value of railway abandoned sites due to the construction of the Dodam~Yeongcheon double-track railway."
According to the agreement, both organizations will cooperate in developing railway assets such as operating themed tourist trains and rail bikes using the abandoned railway sites between Dodam Station and Jukryeong Station on the Jungang Line, as well as the Ttoari Tunnel (Daegang Tunnel).
Kim Sang-gyun, Director of the Rail Network Authority, said, "The Rail Network Authority will continue to strengthen exchange and cooperation with local governments in various fields such as regional culture, tourism development, and job creation by utilizing railway assets and idle sites, and strive to provide practical help for revitalizing the local economy."
