[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Young-wook] Daegu Metropolitan Transit Corporation will conduct a "Leave One Seat Empty" campaign inside trains starting from the 3rd to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and encourage the practice of "social distancing."
This means that only 3 people will sit in train seats originally designed for 6 people. To facilitate public understanding, the corporation plans to attach "Leave One Seat Empty" stickers on the train floors.
Hong Seung-hwal, president of Daegu Metropolitan Transit Corporation, urged, "Even if it is somewhat inconvenient for citizens, please actively participate in this initiative and cooperate for the early end of COVID-19."
