According to Daegu City and quarantine authorities on the 29th, an 83-year-old female COVID-19 patient died at Busan Medical Center at around 8:30 a.m. that day. The patient was confirmed positive on the 20th while hospitalized at Daegu Daesil Nursing Hospital and was transferred to Busan Medical Center.

She was reported to have underlying conditions such as dementia and hypertension.
