The company stated, "The patent concerns the composition, efficacy, and manufacturing method of the Parkinson's disease treatment candidate substance cell/tissue-permeable parkin (improved cell-permeable Parkin: iCP-Parkin)," adding, "This allows us to negotiate from a favorable position during technology transfer discussions with global pharmaceutical companies."
