[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Choi Young-ho, the preliminary candidate for the Democratic Party of Korea in Gwangju Dongnam-gap, announced on the 4th the selection of five major belts and 20 tasks as the "Future Strategy for Gwangju Dongnam Area," stating, "We will create a sustainable Gwangju-Jeonnam community where everyone prospers together," and added, "I will do my best to lead national and regional innovation to create a happy life for residents."
The promotion strategy envisions establishing five innovation belts: ▲ Industry and Economic Innovation Belt ▲ Education and Research Innovation Belt ▲ History and Culture Innovation Belt ▲ Ecology and Tourism Innovation Belt ▲ Health and Welfare Innovation Belt.
Preliminary candidate Choi Young-ho said, "We have prepared support policies for the coexistence economy of small and medium-sized merchants and traditional markets that revitalize grassroots and neighborhood economies by strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium-sized merchants and activating traditional markets alongside culture and arts," and added, "We will build a social economy community in Gwangju Dongnam area through establishing social-economic governance and a one-company-one-social-enterprise system, fostering local food that promotes urban-rural coexistence, and nurturing social economy enterprises."
